Barbara Rogers
Barbara has been a dental hygienist for Dr. McGhee for over twenty-five years. She has tremendous expertise in all areas of dental hygiene, including routine cleanings, patient education, and the more difficult root planning procedures for patients with periodontal (gum) disease. Barbara has a sparkling personality and a great sense of humor that helps put the patients at ease. Her infectious laugh puts patients in good spirits.
Kristie Hill
Kristie Hill joined our staff directly from Dental Hygiene school at Guilford Technical Community College, and has worked as a hygienist in our office since 1989. Kristie's sweet, warm personality puts the patients at ease immediately. Her skills include routine cleaning of teeth, as well as more complicated procedures to treat gum disease. Kristie enjoys her work, and is a devoted family person.
Sarah Plyler
Sarah has been involved in dentistry since she was seventeen years old. She worked for Dr. McGhee while in high school as a front office person, then, later attended school to become a hygienist. Sarah has been a dental hygienist for over twenty-five years. Her years of experience enhance her skills at routine dental hygiene (cleaning teeth) and handling patients with periodontal disease. Sarah is very committed to educating her patients about good dental health. Her personality is warm, friendly, and very compassionate.
Alice Brown
Alice has worked in our office since 1997 as our Receptionist and Appointment Scheduler. Her smiling face is the first one you see when you enter our office. She helps our patients schedule appointments, handles emergency dental needs, and answers many patient questions. Alice is warm and friendly, and has a wonderful way of dealing with patients and making them feel welcome.
Angi Rumley
Angi is our Transaction Financial Secretary and has worked in our office since 2002. She finalizes the paperwork and insurance coverage for a patient at the end of the dental visit, and collects any payment due. Angi facilitates any financial arrangements that may be necessary for patients needing extensive dental treatment. She has a warm and friendly personality and exhibits patience and professionalism in explaining financial details to our patients.
Dorenda Stilwell
Dorenda has worked in dentistry for thirty years. She has extensive experience in the front office, as well as many years experience working as a dental assistant. As a result, she is knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry. In her present position as Insurance Coordinator, Dorenda works diligently to help our patients maximize their insurance benefits. Her professionalism and personal interest in each patient are always apparent.
Renee White
Renee has worked for Dr. McGhee since 1987 as a chairside dental assistant. She is familiar with all the dental procedures done in the office, and helps in every area of general restorative dentistry. Renee is an expert dental assistant who is always very intuitive to the patients' feelings. She has a way of making patients feel comfortable and at ease.
Vanessa Phillips
Vanessa is a Certified Dental Assistant who has been with our office since January of 2000. She has worked previously in a hospital setting as a dental assistant. Her skills are all inclusive in every aspect of general dentistry. Vanessa can handle any procedure with skill and expertise. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and works well with younger and older patients.
Beth Embry
Beth has worked in dentistry for eleven years, seven of which have been with Dr. McGhee. Beth has front office experience, but works now as a Certified Dental Assistant. She is extremely capable and proficient in her job, and enjoys working with and getting to know the patients. Beth has a great personality and the patients enjoy her vivacity.
